What Can Dental Implants Do?

Dental implant technologies of the 21st century have allowed us to make great strides in providing patients with quality dental implants. Thanks to the flexible technology of today, we can provide patients with implants whether they need single-tooth replacements, multiple tooth replacements, or even implant supported overdentures.
Chances are if you need a tooth or multiple teeth replaced and are interested in implants, there are dental implant options our Green Bay dentists can provide to meet your needs.

The Benefits of Dental Implants:

There are a whole host of benefits to dental implants that Oral Health Associates provides to their patients to meet their varying dental needs. The following are some of the benefits of what dental implants can offer:

  • Improved appearances through implants that both look and feel like your teeth.
  • Improved speech as dental implants fit securely and do not cause mumbling or slurring of speech like loose, ill-fitting dentures.
  • Improved comfort as the implants do not wiggle or move in the mouth.
  • The improved self-esteem that comes with having a new, complete, more confident smile.
  • Improvement in oral health habits as implanted teeth are easier to clean and maintain.
  • The durability of implants that can last decades if given proper care.
  • The convenience of having your teeth permanently fixed into the jawline just like your own natural teeth.

Many patients find all of these benefits to be great reasons to invest in a set of dental implants. If you believe dental implants could help provide you with the oral health solutions you are looking for, please reach out to our Green Bay dentists and we would be happy to consult you on our options and the care that will best meet your needs.

Caring for Dental Implants:

Dental implants are essentially cared for the same ways as your natural teeth. Your Green Bay dentists at the Oral Health Associates will recommend that you brush your implants twice per day and floss between each tooth daily. You will also need to visit your dental hygienist twice per year for regular cleanings (possibly more often if your dentist recommends it).

COVID-19 Notice

Dear Patients:

We at Oral Health Associates hope this notice finds you and your family in good health. Over the last few months Green Bay has been through a lot, and we all are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. One thing that has not changed during this time is our commitment to the safety of you and our staff.

You may have noticed infection control has always been a top priority at our practice. Our established processes ensure you receive care that is both safe and comfortable. The COVID-19 pandemic is not the first contagious illness to have circulated our country, nor will it be the last. Over the lifetime of our practice we have successfully prevented the transmission of many infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Swine flu, H1N1, MERS, SARS in addition to our annual “flu season.” Furthermore, hepatitis in its many forms, HPV, herpes, etc. are all part of our everyday lives as your dental care team.

In addition to our standard and universal precautions we want to tell you of additional infection control procedures we have implemented. We follow the daily updates and recommendations of the American Dental Association, the CDC, and OSHA. You may notice the following changes at your next appointment:

  • ⦿ Our office will do a brief but thorough screening process prior to arriving at our office and when you arrive including taking your temperature.
  • ⦿ We have hand sanitizer present throughout our office including at the reception area when you enter and exit and ask that you please use it.
  • ⦿ We have removed difficult to clean items from our waiting rooms like magazines, children’s toys, etc.
  • ⦿ Social distancing will be considered as we allow increased space in our waiting room and the option to wait in your vehicle prior to your appointment.
  • ⦿ We request you please bring a mask for yourself to wear in our waiting room.
  • ⦿ Our staff will be wearing personal protective equipment at the highest available level which may include wearing masks and face shields for the entirety of your visit.
  • ⦿ We have installed multiple Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization Systems in our office which has proven very effective at safely filtering air within our office and killing many pathogens including SARS and other versions of coronaviruses.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you have regarding the steps we take to ensure the safety of everyone in our office. Thank you for being our patient and we look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.
